    January 10, 2021 /

To start the new year off right I decided to commit to two weeks of dry January. My 2020, like many others, was full of wine, cocktails, and beer almost every single night. To help me get through this dry time I decided to experiment with fun mocktail recipes and share my top 5 with you! Most of these cocktails call for simple syrup which you can pick up from the store or simply make at home with one part water to one part…

    November 20, 2020 /

The holidays may look a little different this year but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy delicious food to pair with some even better wine!   Cakebread Cellars wine is always a staple in my home, especially around the holidays, so this year I decided to make two fun recipes to pair with two of my favorite wines. Cakebread Cellars 2018 Chardonnay pairs perfectly with these simple zucchini and goat cheese tarts, then the 2017 Merlot is paired with a childhood favorite, sausage stuffing balls. I hope you enjoy these recipes and make sure to share your creations with me on Instagram! Zucchini Goat Cheese Tarts     Cakebread Cellars…

Why Rent Your Clothing and Jewelry

    September 3, 2020 /

I’m going to share with you my biggest secret on how I stay up to date on fashion trends every season. I rent instead of buy! For the past couple of years, I have been using both Nuuly and Rocksbox  to rent fun new clothing and jewelry that is stylish and seasonal. These companies have changed my closet and Instagram aesthetic forever and even if become rich and famous, (lowkey goals), I’ll still be using these sites because I love them that much. I’ve found that incorporating simple, elegant clothes into my wardrobe has been a game-changer. One of my absolute favorites has been Poet dresses, which offer a chic,…

What to do in Sonoma County While Staying Safe and Healthy in 2020

    August 8, 2020 /

This year has been crazy and Covid-19 has canceled just about all travel plans. However, there are still some safe activities you can enjoy while following the CDC guidelines! If you live in or around Sonoma County, I have compiled a list of fun activities that are safe for the whole family.  Glamping What’s more fun than a camping trip? How about a camping trip with a queen size bed! Earlier this summer I had the opportunity to stay at Wildhaven Sonoma, an elevated camping experience situated in the heart of Alexander Valley. I have only been camping a few times in my life and now I never want to…

5 Sparkling Wine Cocktails Perfect for Summer

    July 14, 2020 /

During the summer I love to sip on something delicious and refreshing cocktails. So I’ve compiled a list of 5 of my favorite sparkling wine cocktails that I think you will love. They’re all super simple to make and only call for a few ingredients.  Each recipe calls for Prosecco or your favorite sparkling wine. I strongly suggest using a Prosecco or Cava rather than Champagne or a sparkling wine made with the Champagne method. Prosecco and Cava typically lean on the lighter side with flavors of citrus and green apples whereas Champagne typically has flavors of bread, vanilla and nuts. However, make sure to play around with them, try…
