Jewelry perfect for the holidays
The holidays are my favorite time of the year. They are full of magic and goodies. Whether it be the first snow fall or beautiful Christmas lights, everything just seems more merry and bright. And one of my favorite things about this season is the spirit of giving. I love giving gifts to my friends and family and while my wallet may not always like it, I sure do.
One of my go to gifts is jewelry. And this season I’m shopping local to help small businesses and give extra special gifts to the ladies in my life I love. I teamed up with Hannah Gay, of Hanmade and Strungout, a local jewelry maker in Chapel Hill. She makes custom to order jewelry that is both beautiful and affordable.
Hannah started making jewelry for herself four years ago and began selling her creations only about a year and a half ago. She finds inspiration from all around her and loves trying to challenge herself by making high end jewelry with her own spin and of course, affordable. Hannah loves this creative outlet she has found through jewelry design and hopes that it will always be apart of her life. She makes custom pieces for anyone and offers shipping as well!
The three pieces I’m featuring are a unique thread wrapped statement necklace, wooden beaded bracelets and double puff black earings.
While I’m not someone who wears jewelry 24/7 I love these statement pieces. They’re both elegant and fun, just like myself. These pieces go perfect with an array of outfits and can be worn with both fancy or casual looks.
