How to wear wide brim hats

Wide brim hats have become one of my favorite new trends. Even though wide brim hats have been trending for a while now I feel like they used to be considered only for hipsters or country gals. I always wanted to rock them but felt like they didn’t look right on me and that I didn’t fall into those categories.
Then, I started to see a change. More and more people around me started wearing them so I decided to just go for it. I wanted to write this post to not only give you ideas for how to rock a wide brim hat but to also remind you that style should be fun, not limited to a certain “type” of person.
Here are 4 different ways to rock a wide brim hat.

ONE

A simple way to style the wide brim hat is to throw on a dress, sandals and a neutral color hat. This look is perfect for any sunny day! I loved this look and you can shop any or all of it right here and for 15% off use code share15.

TWO

I love to dress up a business casual look with a black wide brim hat. Simply wear jeans, a tank and a fun print blazer with a wide brim hat to impress all of your friends. This look is perfect for a day of wine tasting, a roof top bar happy hour or strolling through a new city. Shop this look here.

Three

Another easy way to pair a wide brim hat with is a fun print top, jeans, statement earrings and whatever shoes make you most comfortable. This one is casual enough to wear to the park or rock at a concert. Shop this look here.

FOUR

The last way I styled one of my favorite wide brim hats was for a day exploring old town Sacramento. Here I wore some frayed, light washed jeans with a solid black top and some cute strappy heels. Shop this look here.
