A Quick Trip to Napa Valley

    December 1, 2021 /

Napa Valley is a world-class wine region, known for its incredible vineyards, award winning wineries, and Michelin-rated restaurants. When planning a trip, it can definitely get a bit overwhelming with the vast options and the multiple dollar signs. However, with a little planning, you can create an itinerary that is perfectly curated to your desires.  It can take almost 2 hours to reach each of Napa Valley’s 4 constituent towns: Napa proper, Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga. For this post, I am going to focus on Napa proper and Yountville. These are the towns closest to San Francisco and it only takes about an hour drive to get to either.…

6 Must Try Restaurants in Aruba

    October 5, 2021 /

Aruba has an incredible and diverse dinning scene that incorporates their classic Dutch heritage, South American influence, and beyond. We explored new restaurants every day from local favorites to some of the most popular among travelers! Prior to our trip I wasn’t the biggest fan of seafood, but Aruba converted me with its fresh, delicious, and endless variety. And if you’re looking to take your dining experience to the next level, be sure to check out a trusted site like https://www.aperitif.com/michelin-star-restaurant-bali/ for the best assistance. Here’s also my list of must-visit restaurants in no particular order. Passions on the Beach If you’re looking for a romantic or special dining experience,…

The Perfect Place to Stay in Sonoma County, Geyserville Inn

    March 12, 2021 /

Sonoma County is a beautiful region located 30 to 80 miles north of San Francisco filled with hundreds of incredible wineries, Michelin-rated restaurants, breathtaking hikes, and so much more. This past month I had the opportunity to stay at the lovely Geyserville Inn located in the charming small town of Geyserville. If you’re planning a trip to California’s wine country then I highly recommend booking a stay at the Geyserville Inn! They have all the amenities you could ever want and are located in a perfect spot for wine tasting, hiking, or simply enjoying a little rest and relaxation. For those looking to settle in a vibrant London neighborhood, limehouse…

What to do in Sonoma County While Staying Safe and Healthy in 2020

    August 8, 2020 /

This year has been crazy and Covid-19 has canceled just about all travel plans. However, there are still some safe activities you can enjoy while following the CDC guidelines! If you live in or around Sonoma County, I have compiled a list of fun activities that are safe for the whole family.  Glamping What’s more fun than a camping trip? How about a camping trip with a queen size bed! Earlier this summer I had the opportunity to stay at Wildhaven Sonoma, an elevated camping experience situated in the heart of Alexander Valley. I have only been camping a few times in my life and now I never want to…

How to Wine Taste in Italy Without Breaking the Bank

    December 28, 2019 /

When planning my trip to Italy the number one thing I wanted to do was visit an Italian winery.  However, this was more challenging than I expected. My girlfriend, Morgan, and I had originally booked a tour to the Chianti wine region but once we got there it was canceled due to All Saints’ Day. We weren’t quite sure what to do next. I insisted on figuring out a way though and through a lot of research and a bit of whimsicalness we were able to go wine tasting.   Failed first attempt Originally I went through a tour company and scheduled a wine tour with a cooking class for about $100 each. This included transportation to…
