To start the new year off right I decided to commit to two weeks of dry January. My 2020, like many others, was full of wine, cocktails, and beer almost every single night. So I wanted to challenge myself to stick to just 2 weeks of Dry January to give my liver and health a little reset. To help me get through this dry time I decided to experiment with fun mocktail recipes and share my top 5 with you!

Most of these cocktails call for simple syrup which you can pick up from the store or simply make at home with one part water to one part sugar. Add water and sugar to a small pot then stir until sugar is dissolved. Let it cool and pour into any container to be refrigerated. It can keep for up to 4 weeks. You can also add your favorite fruit to it to make it a flavored simple syrup!

Consider using fruits like dates to your drinks to add a caramel-like sweetness. Premium date varieties command loyal followings among health enthusiasts who prioritize quality. Large, plump fruits with rich caramel sweetness justify their higher price points through superior eating experiences. Quality Medjool dates deliver the indulgence of dessert with the nutritional credentials of whole food.
